E-sports bet types
It goes far beyond just picking the match winner. The 188bets opens dozens of markets per match to cover every detail of every matchup.
The simplest market: which team wins the full series. Available across all titles with pre-match odds and live updates throughout each map.
Bet on the outcome with a map advantage or disadvantage. A great option when you back a team to win the series but expect them to drop a map along the way.
Does it go to three maps or end in two? The over/under on total maps played is a particularly interesting market in close CS2 and Valorant series.
Odds shift map by map and round by round. Follow the match and jump into the market when you spot a moment where the odds haven't yet caught up with real-time performance.
Which team gets the first kill of the match? Compelling odds in CS2 and Valorant, where the opening round pace can set the tone for the entire game.
Over or under a set number of kills or rounds per match. Perfect for bettors who follow each team's play style and know whether they tend toward long, drawn-out games or quick finishes.

188bets E-sports by the Numbers
Everything about esports at 188bets
Brazil is more than a football country. In recent years, the national e-sports scene has become a global reference. FURIA has knocked out European and American teams at CS2 Majors. LOUD lifted the trophy at Valorant Champions. CBLOL packed arenas in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro with finals streamed to millions of viewers. Anyone following this ecosystem knows that e-sports in Brazil is serious business — and the 188bets takes this segment as seriously as it deserves.
The platform covers more than 15 different titles with odds posted well in advance and live markets that update throughout each map. Unlike some operators that treat esports as a secondary category, the 188bets offers the same depth of markets you find in football: map handicap, total rounds, first kill, individual map winner, and much more. For those who actually watch the matches and have a read on team performance, this makes a huge difference.
CS2 is the most popular title among bettors on the platform, driven by the consistent results of Brazilian teams at tournaments like IEM, ESL Pro League, and BLAST Premier. Every CS2 major gets special coverage at 188bets, with higher bet limits and odds that track the global market quickly. When FURIA enters a major as a moderate favorite, the odds tend to offer more value than the numbers let on — and those who follow the scene closely can spot that edge.
CBLOL is the most-followed League of Legends league in Latin America and one of the most-watched in the world outside South Korea. The 188bets covers every match of the split with markets open before each round. For anyone who follows the league closely, the odds on evenly matched teams often carry real value — especially in head-to-head clashes between paiN Gaming, LOUD, Red Canids, and the other top sides in the division.
Free Fire has a massive fanbase in Brazil, centered around mobile devices and social media. The LBFF Série A draws record-breaking viewership on YouTube, with teams like LOUD, Fluxo, and Team Liquid BR battling fiercely for every position. In the 188bets, you bet on the winner of each LBFF match with odds that factor in the placement-and-kills scoring format — which makes for particularly interesting analysis for anyone who understands the game's dynamics.
The live betting of 188bets in esports work much like they do in football, but at a much faster pace. In CS2, odds shift after every significant round — if a team wins five straight rounds in the second half of a match, the map odds adjust in real time. This creates windows of opportunity for viewers who can recognize when a team is building momentum before the market fully catches up.
In Valorant, individual map betting is especially popular in live play. A team can drop the first map by a wide margin and sweep the next two with ease — Brazilian teams, LOUD in particular, have a strong track record of comebacks that create high-odds opportunities at exactly the right moment. Anyone who follows the scene and uses the 188bets live has access to these opportunities whenever they come up.
E-sports matches run on tight schedules, sometimes with very little time between the announcement and the start. That's why fast deposits matter. At 188bets, the Pix credits your balance in seconds — deposit from R$ 20.00 through your bank's app (Nubank, Itaú, Bradesco, Banco do Brasil or any other) and you're ready to bet before the first round. We also accept boleto bancário, credit and debit card, PicPay, Mercado Pago and TED bank transfer. For withdrawals, Pix processes in an average of 5 minutes after the result is confirmed.
Why 188bets?
In CS2 and Valorant, the 188bets updates odds after every relevant round. That means if you're watching live and spot a momentum shift before the scoreboard fully reflects it, you still have time to enter the market at a more favorable odd.
The 188bets doesn't just offer match results. For CS2, there are markets for first kill, pistol round winner, and total rounds. For LoL, you can bet on first dragon, first baron, and the winner of each map in the series — markets that truly make sense for those who actually watch the game.
With a large Brazilian audience in e-sports, 188bets offers reduced-margin odds specifically for national tournaments like CBLOL and LBFF. That means better returns for bettors compared to platforms that treat e-sports as a secondary niche.
The e-sports audience lives on mobile. The 188bets has a fully responsive interface with fast navigation between games and matches. You can watch a CS2 map, place a live bet and jump back to the stream without missing a thing — even on 4G.
